About WeldStack

Welding qualification, documentation & inspection management — for the people accountable for it

Built for welding manufacturers — and for the welding engineers and inspectors who keep them audit-ready. Digitize welder qualifications (EN ISO 9606), WPS/WPQR documentation, supervision and inspections under EN ISO 3834 and EN 15085 — so nothing expires unnoticed and every audit is one click away.

Built in the reality of welding work

WeldStack was not created from outside the industry. It was built from the day-to-day reality of welding work. Its founder is a Chief Welding Coordinator at a railway rolling-stock manufacturer, responsible for keeping production compliant with EN 15085 and EN ISO 3834 and for preparing the company for certification audits.

His daily work closely mirrors WeldStack’s feature set: verifying welders’ qualifications under EN ISO 9606, coordinating the welding team, keeping WPS/WPQR documentation and inspection records in order, and overseeing the machine park.

As an International Welding Engineer IWE and International Welding Inspector IWI-C, he has followed the full professional path: from TIG/MIG welding, through quality control and VT inspection on refinery projects, to welding coordination.

For years, managing qualifications, documentation, and deadlines meant working across spreadsheets and binders. In practice, one outdated certificate or one document that could not be found quickly was enough to delay production or make an audit harder to pass. WeldStack grew out of that need: a self-funded, cloud-based platform built on Google Cloud, aligned with industry requirements, and equipped with certificate reading supported by Google Gemini. It is a tool designed by someone who is responsible for welding coordination every day.

Vision

Where we are going

We want every welding company — from a small workshop to a manufacturer operating across multiple locations — to be able to confirm welder qualifications, procedure validity, and documentation completeness in seconds. Our vision is an industry where compliance does not depend on paper binders and manual deadline checks, but on current, easily accessible data. As a result, audits become predictable, qualifications can be verified instantly, and welding documentation can be managed fully digitally.

Mission

What we do today

WeldStack helps welding companies organize welder qualifications, certificates, and WPS/WPQR documentation in one secure system. Our goal is to make compliance with EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 3834, and EN 15085 easy to maintain every day, not something checked only before an audit.

That is why we are building a cloud-based tool that automates document work, supports data extraction with AI, and gives teams confidence that deadlines, qualifications, and procedures are under control.

Industrial welding quality assurance

WeldStack operates in industrial welding and metal-fabrication quality assurance — the regulated world of certified manufacturing. Our customers are welding fabrication shops, structural-steel manufacturers, and railway (EN 15085) and pressure-equipment fabricators working under the EN ISO 3834 quality framework. WeldStack serves both the companies running this production and the individual welding engineers and inspectors (IWE / IWT / IWS / IWI) who are personally accountable for keeping that documentation in order.

Welder qualifications under EN ISO 9606 have to be confirmed and renewed regularly. In practice, that means tracking many deadlines: from six-month confirmations to qualification validity periods of up to three years. In many companies, certificates, WPS/WPQR documents, and inspection reports are still scattered across spreadsheets and paper binders. One outdated certificate or one document that cannot be found quickly can delay production or make a certification audit harder to pass. Small and mid-size workshops still lack an affordable, cloud-based system aligned with industry requirements — and that is the gap WeldStack closes.

Founder & Team

The people behind WeldStack

WeldStack is developed by Michał Rymut, the project’s founder and an International Welding Engineer (IWE), who is responsible in his day-to-day work for welding coordination, technical documentation, and preparing production for audits. The product is built at the intersection of practical welding expertise, the requirements of EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 3834, and EN 15085, and a modern approach to software development.

Over more than a decade in the industry, he moved from TIG/MIG welding through quality control to welding coordination. He develops WeldStack to solve, in software, the problem he works with every day: keeping qualifications valid, WPS/WPQR documentation in order, and inspections ready for audit.

Our Values

Quality

We focus on order, completeness, and repeatable documentation work, because in welding quality has to be provable.

Security

We protect qualification, document, and user data through access control, organization-level isolation, and GDPR-aligned practices.

Innovation

We use technology where it saves real time: reading documents, tracking deadlines, and preparing teams for audits.

Support

We build WeldStack close to the people responsible for welding and quality, so it answers real workshop problems.

A secure foundation for documentation and audits

WeldStack runs on Google Cloud with data isolated per organization, access control, and a clear change history. That keeps welding documentation organized, available, and ready for verification.
